hydrochloric acid

hydrochloric acid

1、 Product nature:
Appearance: colorless liquid, corrosive. It is an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid for industrial use will be slightly yellow due to the impurity of ferric salt). It has a pungent smell. Due to the volatility of concentrated hydrochloric acid, the volatilized hydrogen chloride gas interacts with water vapor in the air to form hydrochloric acid droplets, so acid mist can be seen. It is miscible with water, concentrated hydrochloric acid dissolves in water, has heat release, dissolves in lye and reacts with lye. It can be freely miscible with ethanol, and hydrogen chloride can be soluble in benzene. Hydrochloric acid invades the human body through inhalation, ingestion and contact with steam and smoke, which can cause acute poisoning, burn of digestive tract, perforation of stomach in severe cases, and burns of eyes and skin. On site preventive measures: wear personal protective equipment, once contacted, wash with water immediately until seeking medical treatment.

3、 Main uses:
Hydrochloric acid is a strong inorganic acid, which is widely used in industrial processing, such as metal refining. Hydrochloric acid often determines the quality of the product.

4、 Storage and transportation
It is stored in high purity acid tank for power supply and brine process.

5、 Health tips
Contact with its vapor or smoke can cause acute poisoning, eye conjunctivitis, burning sensation of nasal and oral mucosa, burn of digestive tract, formation of ulcer, gastric perforation and peritonitis, etc. eye skin contact may cause burns. Contact and eat by mistake, please go to a doctor directly.
